In- Court Strategy Session
Strategic direction for matters already in progress
Service Description
The In-Court Strategy Session is designed for clients who are already engaged in a legal process or where proceedings are imminent. At this stage, decisions carry greater weight and timing, evidence and positioning become critical. This session provides a structured review of your current position, the material available, and the strategic direction of your matter moving forward. We work through the key issues in your matter, identify strengths and vulnerabilities, and consider how your position may be approached within the current process. The focus is on practical, informed decision-making and maintaining control of the direction of your matter. Following the session, you will have a clearer understanding of your position within the proceedings, the options available to you, and the most effective way to approach the next stage. What this session includes • Review of relevant material provided prior to the session • A one-on-one strategy session (typically 90 minutes) • Discussion of your current position within proceedings • Identification of key evidentiary and strategic considerations • Guidance on next steps, including preparation for upcoming stages What this session does not include • Ongoing representation or coming on record • Drafting of court documents or affidavits • Communication with the other party or their representatives • Attendance at court or mediation Any further work will require a separate costs agreement. Ideal client This session is suited to you if your matter is already underway, you have received court material, or you are preparing for the next stage of proceedings and require clear strategic direction. It is also appropriate if you are feeling uncertain about the direction of your matter and want a structured review of your current position.
