Strategic Advisory Session
Clarity, positioning and direction before formal steps are taken
Service Description
The Strategic Advisory Session is designed for clients who are at an early stage of separation or considering their next steps before any formal process has begun. At this stage, clarity is critical. Decisions made early can shape the direction of a matter, influence outcomes, and reduce unnecessary conflict. This session provides a structured understanding of your position, the options available to you, and the most effective way to move forward. We work through the key aspects of your situation, identify the issues that are likely to arise, and consider how your position may be approached in a practical and considered way. The focus is on informed decision-making, early positioning, and avoiding unnecessary escalation. Following the session, you will have a clearer understanding of where you stand, what your next steps should be, and how to approach the process with confidence and direction. What this session includes • Review of information provided prior to the session • A one-on-one strategy session (typically 90 minutes) • Identification of key legal and strategic issues • Discussion of available options and likely pathways • Guidance on next steps and early positioning What this session does not include • Ongoing representation or communication with the other party • Drafting of documents or formal legal material • Negotiation or mediation attendance • Detailed written advice beyond a summary of the session Any further work will require a separate costs agreement. Ideal client This session is suited to you if you are at an early stage of separation, considering your options, or seeking clarity before taking formal steps.
